About the role
As our new Controller, you will be responsible for the entire accounting function and financial overview. You will work closely with the external CFO and management and will play a key role in the continued professionalization and scaling of the finance function.
Your tasks include:
- Daily accounting of financial, creditor and debtor documents
- Reconciliation of bank, creditors and debtors
- VAT and tax reports
- Invoicing and payment follow-up
- Payroll administration and accounting
- Inventory calculation and reconciliation
- Participation in month and year end closing
- Financial reporting to management in collaboration with external CFO
- Optimization of processes and internal controls
We imagine that you have:
- An educational background in accounting, economics or finance (e.g. HD(R), financial economist, cand.merc.aud or equivalent)
- Experience with bookkeeping and accounting - preferably in a company with a warehouse
- Knowledge of e-conomics
- Strong Excel skills
- Knowledge of VAT and tax regulations
- Experience with inventory management and costing is preferred
- A structured, detail-oriented and responsible approach
- Good communication skills and ability to work independently

Are you passionate about video production and want to work with creative content in an exciting and dynamic company? MessyWeekend is looking for a Video Content Intern, who will primarily produce and edit videos for our social media and advertising. You will gain hands-on experience with the entire process from concept development to the finished product.
Your primary tasks:
· Planning and production of video content for social media and digital campaigns
· Video cutting and editing, including color adjustment, audio adjustment, and adding graphics or text
· Contribute creative ideas and input to our visual expressions and stories
· Work closely with E-com and the design team to ensure our videos are in line with the brand and visual identity
We imagine that you:
· Has experience with video editing programs such as Adobe Premiere Pro
· Is creative, independent and has a keen sense of visual storytelling
· Have an interest in social media and know what works on different platforms
· Have an eye for detail and quality in your work

About the position: As an intern at MESSYWEEKEND, you will have a unique opportunity to work closely with our Head of Operations and Finance and gain insight into how we manage our financial processes and operational setup. You will assist with budgeting, cost analysis and reporting, as well as help optimize operational processes such as inventory management. You will also gain experience in preparing material for internal analyses. The full-time position gives you insight into both finance and operational processes in a rapidly growing company.
