Where it started

MESSYWEEKEND was founded in Copenhagen in 2018 to break an eyewear industry owned by the few and defined by repetition. We came from the outside — curious, impatient, and unwilling to follow its rules. What began as an experiment became a system of our own: controlled design, transparent values, and independent production. Built on precision, quality, and Scandinavian clarity, the idea scaled fast. From a single collection to a global brand with broad international presence. That foundation still drives us — design with intent, built with precision, delivered without compromise.

Eyewear Built to Perform

We design eyewear built to perform. Made from acetate, TR90 and metal, all developed to meet the same standard of precision and comfort. Every pair is made to hold its shape, sit right and last. Our eyewear spans sunglasses, optical, sport and snow. Each design is created to live permanently in the collection — not as a season, but as part of the brand’s core. When a frame works, it stays. Each lens delivers full UV400 protection and antireflective clarity. Nothing unnecessary, nothing decorative — just function refined to its simplest form.

How We Think and Create
